What is Microsoft Surface Membership?

Surface Membership provides devices, accessories, support, and training for your business in exchange for a low monthly payment. Membership also includes the Microsoft Complete for Business Extended Service Plan with Accident Damage Protection. At the end of a Membership term participants have the option to renew Memberships and trade up devices, purchase their device for a low fee, or return the device.

Does the Microsoft Surface device come with Microsoft Office?

Yes, during the checkout process you may add Microsoft Office to your Microsoft Surface Membership.

 

Can I upgrade my device to the newest Surface model?

Upgrading to the latest Surface device is easy, just call 844-834-8667 and select option 2 to get started. Upgrades are available after 12 months for 18 month agreements, and after 18 months for 24 month agreements.

What are the requirements to get approved for Microsoft Surface Membership?

The LiftForward underwriting process considers a number of factors when determining credit decisions. Indicators for approval typically include, but are not limited to, time in business and positive cash flow.

 

What if I have a low credit score?

LiftForward technology utilizes many data points during evaluation for credit decisions. All approval/rejection decisions are based on LiftForward’s analysis and discretion. As Microsoft’s finance partner for the Surface Membership program, LiftForward is solely responsible for credit decisions.

 

Can I apply if I have a new business?

Yes you can. The Microsoft Surface Membership program is great for new businesses concerned with cash flow and large capital expenditures. Membership enables your business to get the latest device for a low monthly fee vs. a single, large cash purchase.

 

Are non-profits or educational institutes eligible to apply?

Yes, the program is available for non-profits and educational institutes large and small. As part of your application you will need to provide validating documentation for tax exempt status.

 

Can I keep the device?

At the end of the term of your agreement you have the option to keep the device for a low fee, or stay in the program and trade up for the latest device.

 

When will I receive my device?

After LiftForward approves an application it is sent to the Microsoft team for processing and shipment. When the device ships you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number. It generally takes 3-5 business days from the time you are approved to receive your device.

 

I've been approved for Surface Membership, can I pick up my device in store?

At this time Microsoft Surface Membership devices and accessories cannot be picked up in store. All Surface Membership devices will be drop shipped to your business address.

LiftForward is Microsoft’s financing partner for the Microsoft Surface Membership program.

Is this program available for businesses outside of the US?

At this time the Microsoft Surface Membership is only available to business customers located in the U.S (exluding Puerto Rico). The program may be expanding to other areas. If you would like to be notified when the program is available in other areas please send your email address, the country your business is located to: support@liftforward.com. The Microsoft Surface Membership will soon be available in Canada, Australia, United Kingdom and Germany.

 

Is this program available for personal use?

The Surface Membership Program is currently available for business customers only; however, it will be available for individuals in the near future. What are the costs associated with the program?

Surface Membership is available for a low monthly fee, determined by the device, configurations, accessories, and terms selected plus applicable taxes based on your location. At the end of an agreement Members have the option to purchase the device for a low fee. Sales tax is taken when devices are shipped.
