Autodesk Financing Application

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: What is the financing program?

A: The financing program for Autodesk subscriptions allows any approved business customer, underwritten by Liftforward and its partner banks, to pay monthly for annual or 3-year Autodesk subscriptions. With the financing installment agreement, you don’t have to worry about paying large fees upfront.

Q: Is there a minimum order amount to finance an Autodesk subscription?

A: Yes: $1,000.

Q: What is LiftForward?

A: LiftForward provides software publishers, OEM device manufacturers, retailers, and banks with embedded finance solutions that power global financing programs. LiftForward reduces the embedded finance complexity with a platform that connects all the components necessary for successful financing programs.

Q: What is the relationship between Autodesk and LiftForward?

A: LiftForward provides the platform that connects Autodesk customers to the Lenders providing the financing.

Q: Is financing being offered by Autodesk?

A: No. If you qualify to finance an Autodesk subscription, the underwriting and acceptance is through a Lender connected through LiftForward. Your entire credit relationship (and the terms of that relationship) are between you and the Lender. Autodesk is not extending credit and does not determine eligibility or the terms upon which credit may be granted.

Q: How do I take advantage of this?

A: After you add your Autodesk products to the cart, you can select the financing payment option. You will be directed to a LiftForward page to fill out an application. You will be notified if your application has been approved or not. If approved and the installment agreement is signed, the software license(s) will be provided to you.

Q: How does the application to finance an Autodesk subscription work?

A: LiftForward, on behalf of the Lenders, will ask you to provide some basic business information, as well as consent to run a credit check to qualify you.   If you qualify for financing, you will be approved for an amount to cover your licenses and applicable taxes.  Once your order is complete, you will receive an email from LiftForward with instructions on how to securely view and manage your loan details and view the amount for your equal monthly payments.

Q: Whom do I contact to ask questions about my application?

A: For customer service, please navigate to the bottom of this page and submit a question by clicking on “Leave a Message”. Enter your personal information, such as name and email, as well as a detailed message to submit to the LiftForward team for review.

Q: Do I have to go through an approval process?

A: Yes, but the application and approval does not take long. The application is like completing a credit card application and after your acceptance, you will sign the loan agreement to receive immediate access to your software.

Q: When will my services be provided to me?

A: After the application process is complete, including the receipt of any necessary documents, you will receive notification if you are approved or not. Once approved and all of the paperwork is signed, Autodesk will email you instructions for accessing your software.

Q:   Who provides the financing for an Autodesk subscription?

A: LiftForward works with multiple Lenders and will match you to the finance partner that best fits your credit profile.  The Lender determines qualifications for, and terms of, credit.  You will receive a monthly billing statement from the applicable Lender for your purchase.  Autodesk is not extending credit through this program and is not determining credit terms or eligibility.

Q: What happens if I do not qualify for this program?

A: In the event you do not qualify for the program, you will be notified at the end of the application process.  If you do not qualify, you can purchase an Autodesk subscription through other payment methods by returning to the Autodesk website.

Q: Why was I not able to complete my order after accepting all the financing terms and conditions?

A: By accepting the Installment Agreement, you have agreed to the terms of the financing, subject to final checks. Before the process is complete, the Lender and Autodesk run final checks and one or a number of issues may disqualify you from financing.

Q:   Can I use my credit card to make installment payments for an Autodesk subscription?

A: No. The monthly payments for the installment agreement are only available through the LiftForward-powered program.  You can, however, certainly subscribe to Autodesk software outright with your credit card by visiting the Autodesk website.

Q:  Will I need to make a down payment for my order to finance an Autodesk subscription?

A: No. Customers who apply for this program have no upfront cost.  Your first monthly payment will be due within 30 days from date of subscription activation.

Q:   How do I make my monthly payments?

A: After you are approved, you will be prompted to provide your company’s banking information so that payments can be drafted via ACH from your account when payments are due.

Q: What are the requirements to get approved to finance an Autodesk subscription?

A: The approval process considers a number of factors when determining decisions.  Indicators for approval typically include, but are not limited to, time in business and established business credit reporting with the commercial bureaus. We recommend that your business be registered for at least two years and have a sufficient credit profile with one or more of the major commercial credit reporting agencies.

Q: Is this program available for businesses outside of the US?

A: At this time the program is only available to business customers located in the United States.

Q: Can I return or cancel a financed Autodesk subscription?

A: Your subscription must be canceled within 30 days of approval.

Q:  If I return my financed purchase, will I incur any fees or do I need to take further action to cancel my monthly payment plan with the Lender?

A:    No. Upon confirming your decision to return your purchase within 30 days, no further action from you would be required.
